Parker Mabry is the 21st President (2025-2027) of The African and American Women’s Association (AAWA), a non-profit organization dedicated to building a powerful sisterhood that fosters unity and understanding among women. Under her leadership, the organization will continue to inspire change, celebrate international similarities and differences, and strengthen the global bonds of friendship.
Professionally, Parker is the founder of THE ANDERSON ADVANTAGE GROUP (TAAG), a Washington, DC-based executive coaching firm with a worldwide clientele. A renowned career-life strategist and an internationally recognized thought-leader, she is known for "generating conversations that make a difference." Fluent in
English, Spanish, and French, Parker has facilitated professional workshops across the globe, from Canada, Cameroon, and France to Chile, Haiti, Barbados, and Lebanon, including Thailand, Ghana, and Senegal.
As President, of the African and American Women’s Association (AAWA), Parker is focused on honoring the 51-year legacy of service, friendship, and international social well-being. She is committed to expanding its visibility and sustaining a lasting impact for women of the global African diaspora through the dedicated
collaboration with its members.
Parker is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; An Alumna member of the Links, Incorporated; and A member in good standing with the Reid Temple A.M.E. Church. She resides in Silver Spring, MD with her caring and supportive husband, Vernon Mabry, and is a loving and dedicated mother, sister, and friend.
