In 1974, Irving and Elvira Williams made a bold choice. With four young children in tow, they left the familiarity of home to begin a new life in Tanzania, East Africa. What started as a leap of faith—an act of altruism and a desire to serve—would set them on a lifelong journey neither could have predicted.

From those early days, the couple embraced a vision rooted in a simple yet powerful mantra: saving lives today, building sustainable communities for tomorrow.
