Saundra V. Barrett is a career educator who has spent much of her adult life working in the field of Education. She has served as a/an:
-Director of Education, for a District of Columbia government agency
-Chief Education Officer, for a private telecommunications company
-Trainer, traveling around the United States educating professional staffs in a variety of government agencies and private companies.
-Adjunct professor, for a community college
-Consultant, to the Federal Aviation Administration and RWD Technologies
Although management training is high on her list of services, she has also taught computer application skills, customer service, public speaking, sales, and entrepreneurship.
The mother of one biological son and two stepsons, she derives immense joy from teaching and guiding her grandchildren who range in age from three-to-twenty-three. Her current volunteer commitments include serving on the executive board of directors for the Howard County Maryland Women’s Commission, the African Art Museum of Maryland (AAMM), and the African and American Women Association (AAWA) where she holds the position of first vice-president.
A graduate of University of Maryland, College Park and Howard University, Washington DC, she holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Education, and an ABD doctorate in Education Supervision.
